Splinters

We wander through time searching aimlessly to find sanctuary
to set our souls free....from a prison of immortality,
Through an others death comes an others birth,
Comes our first breath away from heavenly earth,
Eyes wide open with anticipation and bewilderment with colours seen for the first time,
Ears listening clearly to every new sound all around new things to be found.

We grow up in a world full of insecurities,
Trying to understand life's great mysteries,
Learning to love and trust others with our pain,
praying our love is not in vain,
we weather storms with grace trying to find a safer place,
away from hurt...away from fear....wishing on stars that seem so near,
The years pass quicker than we know...we hope to leave a legacy of inspiration............
